Hi, "Fixing KDE Dual Monitor Woes" truly helped me! Without people like you we are sometimes lost in the Linux worlds! I would like to add some observations: I noted to myself "How to clean old multiscreen configuration": rm ~/.local/share/kscreen/* rm ~/.local/share/kscreen/outputs/* Then I am receiving some panel where I can choose how I want the multi Monitors to present my screen input out of my LINUX PC. I am trying to view my beamer through a HDMI matrix switcher. The option to show the same screen image on all monitors (I have a third one) the image is blurred on the beamer screen, i.e I see 2 images that jitter. Looks like some kind of reflection mechanism. BTW no such issue on Windows 10. I am forced to put the monitors side by side and then I have to grab items to be viewed (terminals, movies, figures etc) to the beamer screen. A bit clumsy but it works. Last comment: I have tried nvidia-settings but that led me to a situation where X11 failed to start on boot! => first had to clean up "kscreen" again. Thanks again! frs

If you are looking for an interactive checkbox, use the menu to select Form -> Checkbox and drag the area where you want the check. To change the text, right click and select Control Properties. You can then change the label. Its a lot more effort but once you have the first one, you can always highlight and copy/paste.

Old colormonkey works well too for calibration.

However, the LibreOffice Writer is not picking up the (Introduction and Chapters) after I formatted them in the document as Headings 1. Do you have suggestions on what I should do?

Midori is the absolute best lightweight internet browser.

I think that old laptops, and in the very extremely rare case ancient laptops, are great for basic tasks (surfing the web, email, office/word processing, etc.). I personally like IBM. They used to have a good reputation for making very high quality computers. Lenovo bought the Thinkpad and all other computer form factors from IBM. And I don't know if Lenovo kept the exact same level of quality or not. But they did well at selling the Thinkpad. So my opinion is that there's no need for a huge amount of processing power and RAM if the only thing the computer is going to be used for is basic tasks. If you buy a new one with the latest and greatest, it's overkill. It's like buying a Bougatti when the speed limit is only 55 MPH.

Thank you. Can't understand dynamic workspaces efficiency: you don't remember on which workspace every app is working, you need to press Super key and check. You can't just jump from first workspace to third in a moment. You need to list all previous workspaces every time. And mostly we know which apps we use every day. So i have created 4 static workspaces, desided for each of them which type of apps will run there and set up keybindings to switch to all workspaces by number. And now i don't think about workspaces, i don't check where my app is, i'm just switching to it in a moment.

I'm right there with you man.. I've been using both MUCH less frequently and have been thinking about calling it quits on both. Mudslinging, jumping on bandwagons, people constantly on the attack, fake people, etc.. I don't have time for that silliness anymore. I still use Reddit and some Discord servers but the other stuff less and less every day.
